Building of Dreams (3 photos) / by Dave Hileman

In the small town of Holland, Virginia there is a nondescript collection of store front buildings and an old garage on the main street with a small sign East Side Rides. I went in from the sidewalk through a large open door into a large brick room filled with automobiles from a 1920’s era Packard to 60’s muscle cars in various stages of restoration. There was one worker and I asked if I could take some photos and his answer was sure. He also told me these are not spec cars but customer’s cars and they are books for months and months. Here are a three shots where the light was very dim and hard to see.

Across the street is the slightly marred 50’s Buick - on the theme of “field of dreams.” The town had a lot of older cars - needed to explore this area a lot more.
