This is a Coatimundi and I photographed him at the Chiricahua National Monument. You did not know you would need a dictionary for this post, right? This elusive animal is found only the the extreme southwest. Chiricahua is a wonderful park in the South-eastern corner of Arizona and may well become the next National Park. Great place. And an animal I never saw before and not likely again.
